The drunk has been calling me all day at work. Calling me names, threatening me, etc. I called the police and asked them if they would meet me at home, after I get off work and make him leave.
They told me no.
They said that he has established residence there. If I want him out, I have to go file for an eviction against him. Even though it's MY apartment! The only way they will help me is if he is getting violent at the time, and I call 911, THEN they will come to my residence and make him leave.
So...let me get this straight, he has to physically harm me or threaten me first? Then IF I CAN call the police, they will make him leave?
I told the cop about past events, he said "I wouldn't put up with that as long as you have".
Really? NO SHIT! I'm just a dumb ass, sorry.
I guess they don't understand that I was trying to keep from calling 911.
Let's just hope I'm able to call the police.

OMG I'm so sorry. Ask to speak to his boss as Coyote said. Or call 911 when he threatens and say you are scared to go home. This is ridiculous! This is like horrible news to add to my already crap day. Please call again and also call your local woman shelter and tell them the police are not helping you. They have lawyers that work for them for free. Sassy these comments come back to my email, which I check all the time. so I am here if you need me. Fight for yourself a little harder and you will win. I will pray for you tonight.
I'm back. Look, just call and say he hit you. I mean what's the difference? He is scum and will likely hit you soon anyway. The police have no choice then and he will be out. I'm not into lying, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. My husband just said to tell you the cops are lazy and you gotta make them do their job sometimes.
Sassy, go home and call the police crying and say he threatened to hit you...so what if he didn't at that exact moment. He has in the past, and thats all that counts...
The police suck.
If the oxygen thief doesn't receive mail at your house then he's not a resident, period, and those cops need to get him outta there.
Eviction takes like six months, an ex parte would get him out sooner but then you might have to testify against him and you have to say that you are afraid he will hurt you. Sounds like you've got that covered.
Sassy do you have any big burly friends around you who might be able to scare him off?
This guy calling you all of the time while your out, sounds like he's afraid you might bring someone else home to remove him. Not a bad plan really...

I agree with everyone one here and their ideas. I am so ready to get a plane ticket and come clean your home up. I would love to see him mouth me or get in my face. You know I'm not a little guy!! All of us on here have love for you! Please take the advice.
