I thought being a good person, made you a better person, brought good things into your life, and got you into heaven.

I'm more forgiving of others than I am of myself.

Maybe I'm being selfish, but I just want something good to happen to me, something good to come into my life, just once.

Is that too much to ask?

No that's not too much to ask for. As a matter of fact it's what you are supposed to ask for and expect, good things. Unfortunately sometimes we get programmed from life and those around to expect the worst, or at best nothing at all, so we don't get so hurt or let down when shit happens.

The key here is, "I'm more forgiving of others than I am of myself." ya see? Ya gotta change that, f everyone else, heh, kidding, but make sure your self talk is as kind and supporting as your talks to other people. That's a good start anyway.

It'll happen.

love you,
mom

We are so much alike. Being good isn't always the right perspective. Let's be evil bitches!

It does, but that doesn't mean you have to be a doormat for ANYONE!

Saying no doesn't make you a bad person!
