Just this week..

One of my best friends found out her mother-n-law has cancer. A friend of my dad's shot and killed himself. A 19 year old girl from my hometown was crushed to pieces in a car accident.

Before all of that, I was feeling sorry for myself.

Today...I'm the lucky one.

WE ARE NEVER PROMISED TOMORROW.

60 years ago today my parents married. Dad died in '83...which is how old he'd be today had he lived.

I think about your last line every day!

My oldest not long ago said he finally felt like a success since he's working in his degree (astrophysics). I told him that each day I wake up on the green side of the grass is a success!

When I count my blessings, know you are among them!

We are promised but one thing every time we watch the sunset, within that moment, and that thing is the light.

Live every day as if it were your first and your last. In the moment, now, the only time that can be touched in our perceivable world. If only we could all somehow utilize this concept. Pragmaticize it.

Be well, friend.
